219th District Court

The Court

The 219th District Court is one of eleven district courts in Collin County.  It is a trial court, therefore lawsuits originate at this level.  The cases heard in this court all arise within the borders of Collin County. However, as a state district court the judge has authority to issue warrants for anywhere within the borders of the State of Texas.

 

The types of cases include civil lawsuits without any limit to the amount of money in controversy; felony criminal matters; and family law.
